Sauna & Ice Bath Rules & Expectations:
- Anyone under the age of 18 using the Sauna & Ice Bath must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted.
- Alcohol and drugs are not permitted in or while using the Sauna & Ice Bath. 541 Social Club reserves the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
- Please come showered off and free of any perfumes, oils or lotions. We aim to keep the Sauna & Ice Bath clean and toxin free. These substances may affect the appearance, hygiene and/or fragrance of the sauna. Some people are very sensitive to smell and 541 Social Club wants to guarantee the full enjoyment of the sauna to the patrons in your party, as well as to all future patrons. Creams, body lotions, etc. not only run with your sweat and make an oily mess that stains the wood benches and walls, but they will clog up your pores and keep your skin from breathing and sweating.
- Please help keep the sauna clean! We ask that you keep your shoes outside the sauna and by placing a towel underneath you while sitting on the sauna bench.
- Please bring a water bottle, flip flops, sweat towel, towel for sitting on inside the sauna, towel for drying off and warm clothes and socks for afterwards.

RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
(541 SOCIAL CLUB LLC)
The undersigned participant (“Participant”), and Participants undersigned parent/guardian if Participant is less than eighteen (18) years old, agrees to all of the terms and conditions of this Release of Claims and Assumption of Risk (this “Release”) in favor of 541 Social Club, LLC (and all associated companies) an Oregon limited liability company, doing business as 541 Social Club (“541 Social”), and their respective successors, assigns, directors, officers, members, managers, employees, agents, representatives and other personnel (collectively, the “Released Parties”), as a condition of Participant participating in the following activities: Sauna, Ice Bath & Fitness Training (together with any related equipment, the “Activity”) provided by 541 Social.
Release of Claims; Limitation of LIability; Indemnity, In consideration of participating in the activity and 541 Social premises, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Participant releases the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, damages, liabilities, and expenses of every kind (collectively, “Claims”), whether known or unknown and whether or not foreseeable, including, without limitation, Claims for or related to property damage, bodily injury, or death, that are in any way related to, resulting from, caused by, or arising out of, whether directly or indirectly, in the Activity. This Release applies to any Claim for property damage, bodily injury, or death, even if caused by the negligence of any of the Released Parties. The only claims not released are those based upon the gross negligence, recklessness or intentional misconduct of any of the Released Parties.
In addition to (and not in limitation of) of the Claims released above, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (i) the combined aggregate monetary liability of the Released Parties to Participant in any way related to the Activity, even if arising due to the negligence of any of the Released Parties, will not exceed the rental amount paid to 541 Social by or for Participant for Participant’s participation of the Activity; and (ii) none of the Released Parties will be liable to Participant under any Claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. 541 Social allowing Participant to participate in the Activity on 541 Social’s or premises and the Activity fee charged by 541 Social are consideration for this Release.
Participant will defend, hold harmless, and indemnify the Released Parties for, from, and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, damages, liabilities, and expense of every kind, whether suffered directly or from a third-party claim, whether known or unknown and whether or not foreseeable, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees, that are in any way related to, result from, caused by, or arises out of, whether directly or indirectly, the Activity or its use by Participant. Without limitation, the foregoing indemnity extends to and includes all Claims for: (i) injury or death to any person (including Participant); and (ii) damage to any equipment and 541 Social property.
Operation. User acknowledges that it has had the opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with how to properly participate in the Activity.
Safety First. The Participant acknowledges to the Activity Provider that the participant does not have any physical limitations, medical ailments, or physical or mental disabilities that would limit or prevent the Participant from participating in the Activity. Participant agrees to immediately notify Activity Provider staff if Participant has any questions or if any property damage or injury occurs. Participant agrees to: (i) participate in the Activity in a careful and cautious manner that minimizes risk of injury or property damage: and (ii) not participate in the Activity while under the influence of alcohol or any illicit, controlled, or restricted substance or intoxicant.
Miscellaneous. Participant agrees that: (i) if a provision of this Release is determined to by unenforceable in any respect, the enforceability of such provision is any other respect, and of the remaining provisions of this Release, will not be impaired; (ii) this Release is binding on Participant, Participant’s undersigned parent/guardian and, if applicable, and their respective heirs, personal representatives, successors, and assigns, and will inure to the benefit of the Released Parties; (iii) the language in this Release shall be construed (a) according to its fair meaning and not strictly for or against any person, and (b) without regard for who was responsible for drafting the Release; (iv) the term “person” means any natural person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, or other type of entity, THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
THE UNDERSIGNED UNDERSTAND THAT THIS RELEASE WAIVES SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS AND HAS CAREFULLY READ THIS ENTIRE RELEASE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY PROVISIONS. THE UNDERSIGNED SIGNS THIS RELEASE FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITH THE INTENT OF BEING LEGALLY BOUND BY IT.
IF I AM SIGNING FOR A MINOR, I AGREE THAT I AM PERSONALLY BINDING MYSELF AND USER TO THIS RELEASE ON A JOINT AND SEVERAL BASIS AND AM SUBJECT TO AND BOUND BY THE RELEASE OF CLAIMS, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY PROVISIONS OF THIS RELEASE.

General Rules & Expectations:
If you have signs and symptoms of cold/fever, please do not come to the 541 Social Contrast Experience. In an attempt to limit the spread of illness, cancellations due to illness will be
refunded and can be done so by letting us know us via the contact page on our website citing your booking order number.
All persons using the Ice Bath as a "cold plunge" do so at their own risk. It is your own
responsibility to ensure that you are a capable handling being exposed to the cold temperatures.
Anyone under the age of 18 using the sauna must be accompanied by an adult.

Reduce the Risk of Overheating and Scalding
1) Prolonged exposure to the high temperatures, which prevail in a sauna may cause
your body to overheat. Limit yourself to a maximum of fifteen (20) minutes at a time
and allow your body to cool down to normal body temperature in between sauna
rounds. Overexposure to high temperatures can be dangerous to your health. Exit
immediately if nauseous, uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy.
2) Check with a doctor before using sauna if pregnant, diabetic, in poor health
and/or under medical care.
3) Do not use the sauna facility if you have recently consumed alcohol, drugs or
medications.
4) Be aware that direct body contact with the sauna heater, sauna rocks, steam,
or other metal objects in the sauna may cause serious injury.
Reduce the Risk of Slipping and Falling
1) Use care when entering and exiting the sauna facility.
2) Outside grounds may be icy. Use of proper footwear outside the sauna is recommended at all times.
WARNING High Temperatures:
Prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures is capable of inducing hyperthermia.
Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches several
degrees above the normal body temperature of 98.6°F. Symptoms of hyperthermia
include an increase in the normal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy,
drowsiness, and fainting. The effects of the hyperthermia include failure to perceive
heat, failure to recognize the need to exit the room, unawareness of impending
hazard, fetal damage in pregnant women, physical inability to exit the room and
unconsciousness. It is a good idea to take sauna baths with others present.
WARNING Substance Use/Abuse:
The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication is capable of greatly increasing the risk of fatal hyperthermia. DO NOT take a sauna if using alcohol or illicit drugs.
WARNING Pregnant Women, Health Compromised and Minors:
Pregnant women, anyone taking medications and/or persons in poor health should
consult their physician before using any sauna. Children under the age of 13 must be
accompanied by an adult at all times and require waiver sign-off from their
parent/guardian before using the sauna. Infants and toddlers should not use the
sauna, even with parental supervision.
WARNING Caution Fire And Burn Injury Hazard:
Do not use the sauna room for drying clothes, bathing suits, etc. Do not hang towels above heater or place any object, other than the rocks supplied, on the heater. The heater, rocks heat up to extremely high temperatures during operation and should not be touched or serious burns may result. Minors should be adequately supervised whenever near a hot or warming sauna.
WARNING Caution Falling Snow/Ice Hazard:
The roof of the sauna structure has no snow guards. Any accumulation of snow and/or ice on the roof may suddenly dislodge and cause injury to persons located in the vicinity of the equipment's exterior.
SAUNA HOUSE RULES
The Sauna is booked with 30 minute intervals in between session to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing between groups of people.
All guests must arrive showered and rinsed off before entering the sauna – residual oils from perfumes and lotions can not only disturb the sauna environment but also damage the benches and walls and is very hard to clean and remove. It goes without saying then that NO oils, creams, lotions, etc. are
allowed in the sauna at any time under any circumstances. These substances may affect the appearance, hygiene and/or fragrance of the sauna. Some people are very sensitive to smell and 541 Social Club wants to guarantee the full enjoyment of the sauna to the patrons in your party, as well as to all future patrons. Creams, body lotions, etc. not only run with your sweat and make an oily mess that stains the wood benches and walls, but they will clog up your pores and keep your skin from breathing and sweating.
NO Food or drink in the sauna at any time (other than drinking water for personal consumption).
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed inside of the sauna nor while using the sauna at any time, under any circumstances.
NO shoes or flip flops allowed in the sauna - Please use flip flops between rounds of entering/exiting the sauna to keep from tracking in dirt. For your convenience we'll provide a mat for folks to place their shoes outside of the sauna door for ease of transitioning in and out while maintaining a clean
environment inside the sauna room.
Guests must sit on towels over the benches at all times. This is standard sauna procedure in order to ensure a clean spot for your whole group as folks rotate in and out of the sauna. It is recommended that guests bring two towels – one for sitting on and one for drying off. Alternatively, your guest might prefer to bring a robe for relaxing in between rounds. Hand towels can also be useful in the sauna for wiping off sweat around the face. **Towels can be rented for an additional add-on fee, please inquire in interested
Keep all benches clean
It is considered proper sauna etiquette to ask everyone in your group who is sharing the sauna space with you if they are ready for steam before pouring a ladle of water on the rocks.

I hereby grant 541 Social Club permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.
I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the 541 Social Club and will not be
returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize 541 Social Club to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears.
Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge 541 Social Club from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
